Here are some rough draft dates for the SIMS. I am put them out publicly just in case there are serious issues with these dates that I have not thought of. The only thing that came to mind was the fact that I don't know when the Magic Valley Shootout will be.

There are two monthly's in June due to the fact of 4th of July, Baked Potato Open, Soda Springs, Targhee, and I have a reunion the other weekend. I don't mind doing a tourney on July 2nd even though its Independence Day weekend. I didn't want to put a tourney over the Baked Potato Open either. The other option is July 16th which someone else can run because I will be at a reunion. Let me know.

April 30th-Ross Park Monthly
May 21st-Sister City Monthly
June 11th-Lava Monthly
June 25th-Massacre Monthly
August 6th-Freeman Park Monthly
September 10th-SIMS Championship At Bengal Ridge

These are meant to be low key casual tournaments. Fun for all levels and low pressure on the club and TD's. Open Division will payout cash and Am divisions will payout Club Bucks.

Entry fees will be $25 for Open, $20 for Advanced, $15 for Intermediate, and $10 for Women and Junior Divisions.

I have not decided how points will work. Let me know if you have any good ideas.

First let me say that I am so happy to see the SIMS events back. I see no issue with the schedule. I will be to as many events as possible (somewhere between 4-6 depending on some schedule issues).

I wonder if the fees for each event should be a few bucks higher for non-PVDGC members to encourage people to pay the club fees. So, for example you attend 4 of the 6 events you will save 20 bucks in entry fees and it was totally worthwhile to join the club...just a thought.

Again, I couldn't be happier that this is on tap for the year.

I probably can't make trophy discs for each tourney, but I can surely have something for the overall sims champs in each division.
