Sister City OB
This came up at league with Mike and the question is often asked. What is OB at sister city DG course?
As a general rule: OB includes Pavement, concrete, pavilion, inside a fence, play area, private property, beyond Satterfield or Pocatello Creek road, inside recycle bins.
Safe includes: dirt, grass, gravel, jogging path, beyond park road, wrong fairway and similar stuff. The jogging path is IN because it is poorly defined in many places.
Hole by hole OB breakdown
Hole 1: Private property, inside pavilion, road, play area
Hole 2: Private property including parking lot, play area
Hole3: private property.
Hole 4: Play area, pavilion
Hole 5: Pavilion, parking lot, road
Hole 6: private property
Hole7: parking lot and road
Hole 8: Road, parking lot
Hole 9: Road, fenced in area
Hole 10: road, recycle bins, Satterfield and beyond
Hole 11. Road, satterfield, sidewalks and beyond.
Hole 12: private property
Hole 13: parking lot, road. (not played as an island)
Hole 14: tough to go OB
Hole 15: Road
Hole 16: tough to go OB
Hole 17: road and beyond
Hole 18: tough to go OB
Naturally leagues and tournament directors are welcome to make changes to the normal OB as they see fit. Casual players are welcome to play more or less stringently. These are just a standard place to start. _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.
Good news everybody! it's a suppository. |
