I have been thinking about throwing a PDGA EVENT in Idaho falls. I was just wondering if anybody else had thoughts on this. Is it a waste of my time or would it be a good thing?
Looking at sometime in July |

| If it didn't conflict with the Baked Potatoe Open or the Soda Springs tournament I would probably go. I'm sure other people from around the state and possibly Utah would consider it |

i would be all for it. for ratings purposes it is important to make sure that you will have at least 10 pdga players there. If you started marketing early enough that should not be a problem. _________________ See you on the course!

| IF has the best course in the state in my opinion and it is a tragedy that it isn't used for more professional purposes. Get your PDGA on! |

| I think its a great idea,Freeman is a fun course for sure.I would suggest Making it a 1 day to get out of area boys more inclined (Utah,Twin, and Boise Boys).Get it on the schedule the sooner the better and as hard as it is try not to conflict with other tourneys around.I for one am already planning on hitting the Freeman tourney again and would not be apposed to making it to 2 this year(PDGA current by BTW)..My two cent hope it helps.. |

Casey - I'm a PDGA member and would try to make it.

| I love the idea of a tournament in I.F. Freeman is a great course that would set up for a sweet tourney. Count me in for sure and I am current with my PDGA membership too. |

| This tournament would have to be July 10th or 17th due to Independence Day, the Soda Springs event, and the Targhee Open already taking up the other weekends. I have the Summer Fling penciled in right now but would gladly trade it for I.F. I am limited myself to two tournaments a month. |

The July 10th weekend is The Baked Potatoe Open in Boise. This would eliminate any chance of Boise players coming down for the event. Maybe even some of the Twin Falls players. I wouldn't recommend this weekend.
Maybe the 17th is a better option... |
