Just wanted to start a discussion about possible changing our club logo to a much more aggressive vibrant logo. Im not saying that there is anything wrong with the one we have now. I just think it may be an idea worth pushing around. Anyone care to retort.

I think if people understood who was the model for the current logo and how unreal he is as both a disc golfer and a ninja no one would ever get beat up in a club shirt.

In that actual picture the model has a pair of nunchucks in his pants. Not numbnuts as has been suggested in the past.

Not only is he a human weapon, but a disc golf phenom. That guy has the ability to not only throw far enough to ace at ross park but on several of the top holes at sister city. he has been known to nip chains from up to 40 feet out. He has also used a putter to fend off a dog attack by a pack of vicous dogs consisting of a lone yorkie.

As far as ninjaingness he has actually been to China. Do you know anyone else that carries a skirken at all times? does anyone else out there have bow staff skills that can decimate an opponent at any time, assuming they are unarmed?

I didn't think so.

Next time think it through. nothing is more aggressive than the logo we have.

I don't think Brad is arguing about your aggressiveness, Lance. I think he's stating that the current logo shows more of your passive side, not doing your "ninjaingness" justice.

Maybe our new logo should be a mound of snow with a pair of boots sticking out of it?

eric, i'm going to let that one slide because it seems that you are unaware of 2 facts that can keep you alive.

1- ninja specialize in assisanation. meaning they kill people.

2- when I wear my white ninja clothing in the winter it can appear that I am buried in the snow, thus lulling my enemies (who are numerous) into a false sense of fluffy white serenity.

Ninjas are Japanese, not having anything to do with China.

This reminds me of the Americal Dad episode in which Stan adopts a baby. Roger asks him, "Is that a Chinese baby?" and Stan replies, "Sure is. Japanese to be specific."

Although, I must say, I one day dream of training in the Chinese Ninja arts in the Clark dojo.

As far as the logo, I think we should have something cool. The only thing that I think would be cool is if we spelled the name as follows:

"Portniph Valley Disc Golf Club"

I like the ninja theme. Looking at the current logo on the front page, why couldn't we just swap out the current silhouette with one of a ninja?

I'm no artist, otherwise I'd draw up something.

I'll bet we could even get Lance to pose again...if we can find him....

When I paid my 64.95 to join my ninja clan online it was defintely to a chinese company. so bite it. My ninjistu is powerful in both form and odor.

Lance, bring it! I am quite familiar with many martial arts action movies that have taught me the finer points of many martial art forms.

I do think that the ninja theme could be cool. Instead of t-shirts, we could make club headbands that we could all wear to tourneys. That would be awesome. Er, ... excuse me Eric, AWESOME!!

I'm with Cowan and Eric on this one. It would be seriously cool to have head bands or something like that with club logos on them. I'd imagine the headbands would be less expensive, as well.

Our club hasn't got a cool animal as a "mascot". I think we should pick a mascot and have a logo with the mascot putting or driving. My vote is for the most majestic of all beasts:

The Aardvark, or "Earth Pig"
