Just got back from San Diego- about 2 million people in the metro area and I only found 2 courses. BOTH pay to play. One was on a ball golf course. It was a fun course and riding in a cart, though ridiculous, was fun for once. most of the pads teed off just in front of the ball tee pads and the baskets were usually behind the greens with the greens playing OB. It was a pitch and putt course so most holes were in the 400' range. an easy drive, lay up over the green and drop in.
The other course is right by the zoo and cast $3 per day. I went when it was a little rainy and the course pro said the course was "empty" If that is empty I would hate to see packed. most of the golfers I talked to said they only golf in bad weather because you can't even finish a round in good weather. the course was OK but it didn't have enough land, had a ton of cross play and you could easily kill someone on most of the holes or skip into a major roadway.
@ million people playing on 2 pay courses, that sucks. _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.
Good news everybody! it's a suppository. |
