Blake - I'm planning on holding a player pack for you. Just bring your entry fee on Saturday and you'll be good to go.
James - Thanks a lot. Holding a player pack for you, too.

Okay, there are a few things I would like to request regarding the Ace Race:
Can someone bring an extra basket for use in 7 on the line at the end of the tourney?
Lance - is there a chance I could get the key to move baskets on Friday at noon? I'd like to make sure baskets are in the appropriate location.
I'll probably be marking out alt throwing areas for the Ace Race in the early afternoon on Friday, if anyone would like to join me. It's okay to use some spray paint on the grass, right?

Eric, let's just unlock one of the baskets and roll it over to wherever you want to do the 7 on the line. We could just pull the Hole 2 basket and roll it over to the pavillion, if needed. _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

That works, Austin.
Who has keys to the baskets? I would like to be able to move them tomorrow afternoon. Can someone with a key meet me at Ross and noon tomorrow (Friday)?

I've got the basket key, bu I work until 4:00. Try getting ahold of Mark. I believe he has the key as well. _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

James - works for me. I haven't played Ross in months. It'll be good. Plus, you can help me layout alt tees, if you're willing
Eric

Okay guys. Discs are here! If you throw an Aviar mold, you're going to like this disc. It is essentially a beaded Aviar. Some pretty cool colors, too. I think you'll like both types of plastic - the Pro D and the ESP.
Course is also preliminarily laid out. Thanks for the help from Mark, James and Casey L. I retracted my previous post: I don't think we're throwing from the bricks on ANY holes. We shortened everything up to make them within putter range. Some wide open holes, some are a little tricky. It'll be fun. I even managed to "ace" one of them when we were laying them out
See you tomorrow!

A big thank you to all those that showed up and played the 2009 Discraft Ace Race. I got positive feedback about the course, even though there were only 3 aces. It ended up with Mark in a playoff with Noah, each with an ace and 4 metal hits after 36 holes. Mark came away the winner.
I think we had 17 people show up. If I run it again next year, I'll start advertising earlier and ask club folks for help with finding sponsorships. It was a good learning experience for me as a first-time TD.
I do still have several of the Ace Race discs/player packs remaining. If you'd like to purchase anything, let me know.
It was a fun time. Thanks all!

Eric,
Is it too late to pick up a players pack from you?
