I would like to welcome back Black Jax Sports, The Haunted Forest, and Sandpiper as tournament sponsors. More in the works.
Check out the tournament webpage link at the top of this site. We have already gotten pre-registration and that is the only way you can sign up for this event. I will not be taking ANY registration at the tournament. |

I forgot to let you know that I picked up a couple of sponsors:
Barry's Ski and Sports: $50.00
Craigo's Pizza and Pasta: 2 dinners
Jamba Juice: 4 smoothie coupons.
I know it's not much, but it's a start. Hopefully I can get more worked out in the next week or so. |

| Thank You Matt! I did send Barry's and Craigo's a thank you for last year and info on this year so that saves me some phone calls. I appreciate it! |

slightly off topic post on how the light pods affect the flight of your discs.
I went out to Ross park last night for the first time in months. Aside from having to play around a group of like 15 college students it was a good reminder of why I used to like that course.
There was no wind.
I used three discs with pods attached to them:
175 champ valk (beat to heck)
162 champ starfire
172 Omega QMS? (omega champ aviar putter)
My impressions were as follows...
Normal valk
speed 9
glide 4
turn -2
fade 2
Valk with pod
speed 8
glide 4
turn -4
fade 3
Makes the valk easier to turn over. But, if you didn't turn it over it still has a nice valk fade.
Normal starfire
speed 10
glide 4
turn 0
fade 3
Starfire w/pod
speed 9
glide 2
turn -1
fade 5
Makes the starfire fly wonky. It dropped like a stone after the high speed portion of the flight.
Omega putter
speed 2
glide 3
turn 0
fade 1
Putter w/pod
speed 1
glde 4
turn 0
fade 1
Makes the putter fly slow, floaty & straight. I was making some putts that I normally don't. I think the pod actually improves the putters. Too bad theyr'e not tournament legal. |

alright Mindy and I are in. Mindy is the returning women's champ and I am the returning open 17th place winner. Come and get some of that.
We both plan to actually practice and DOMINATE. _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.
Good news everybody! it's a suppository. |

Yeah, as soon as I get them they are available.
I am trying to swing coming up to Pocatello this weekend for the league barbeque (what!? I went to one). If I am able to come up I will bring all the Black Jax stuff with me (if it has arrived, of course) and anyone who has pre-registered or wishes to register can pick up their AeroPod and also purchase additional AeroPODS or a Black Jax Axe Drive or a PinDragon putter. I am told by Black Jax that all of last years plastic was 150 class. So, I ordered 170 -175 drivers that are "said" to be stable. I will pull one out for me and anyone cast test it if so desired. The putters rock if you like the Aviar, Magnet, Omega types.
The extra AeroPODS are $6.00 and the drivers are $13.00. That is well below their retail.
Hopefully see you this weekend. |

The Halloween Haunt would like to welcome back Outer Limits, Soccer Rockers, and Applebee's as tournament sponsors! We are more than halfway to our sponsor goal of $1500!
We still need help. Anyone who knows of someone or someplace that wants to be a part of the biggest event we have all year, please ask! Or, if you want to help out yourself, we will make sure everyone who attends knows that you helped out with it.
I still need volunteers to help out with set up/take down. I have two assistant TD (thanks Mooch and James). It would only take an hour out of your time (thats including driving) to help out with 1 hole.
Lance, did we get a permit? Also, we need to make sure we have electricity. I don't know how much control you have over it, but if they could delay stacking up all the tables until after this event, that would be super awesome. |

I requested the delays in winterization. That's about all I can do. I also sent in the variance request. it will be decided on the 15th. Shouldn't be a problem.
Count me in to decorate at least 2 holes and bring a pumpkin. what else can i do? (besided sponsors, which I do enough at work already.) _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.

As of right now, the 1st place winner in each division is getting $279 for 1st in Open, $163 for Advanced, $115 for Intermediate, $61 for Women, and $36 for Junior.
I may skip the Huctoberfest in Ogden for the Ace Race depending on a couple of things. If I do, I will be in town for more in person pre-registrations. I will definitely have all the discs and light pods as well.
Very important! If you are sure that you are coming to this event but have not paid yet, will you please let me know. I want to have the prize payout done before the tournament so we don't have to spend my and your time to do prizes after the rounds. It would be a tremendous courtesy to me to do so. |

| The Halloween Haunt has been renamed the Outer Limits Halloween Haunt due the great sponsorship from Outer Limits fun zone. The PVDGC and Matt's awesome dye have sponsored 5 trophy discs. We also have Jimmy Johns, Sandtrap Bar and Grill, and gottagogottathrow.com as sponsors. |
