Does anyone have any Info on this event for this year?

I don't know a whole lot, the Gem State Disc Golf site says it is scheduled for the 25th of July, but I dont see much else. Would be fun to go, but I might be hard pressed to do 3 weekends in a row witht he SIMS, and the Soda Springs events on the two previous weekends.

Its always the last weekend of July. It is anti-PDGA heavy drinking event. You won't find any info on it until June-July, but it is 36 holes of mind blowing fun. The course rocks and hospitality cannot be beat. TD's Karen and Jazz Russell will send an update to this website, gemstatediscgolf.org, and grandtarghee.com when they have all the info together.

The 25th threre is a race in burley I want to do, but it is entry via lottery so there is a good chance I will be free that weekend. I think to make it enjoyable it would be best to camp for the weekend. maybe head up fri, play 18 and hang out. Then play Sat and either plan to camp again or get home really late. Don't plan on getting home before 8-9pm.

I should know about the race within a week or two.

If you're sober for the second round you'll move up, probably a lot- so that's a bonus.

I should be able to make a definitive decision in a week or two. I'd love to go up and camp if a bunch of folks wanted to. It'd be cool for us to have a strong PVDGC representation at the Targhee Open.
