|
|
I feel like the club should adopt all the courses in the region. This includes but is not limited to:
Blackfoot Jensens Grove
Lake Walcott State Park
Upper Ross Park
American Falls DGC
All of them have been added to the PDGA course listings except American Falls, but we really need a hole-by-hole description of the course, pictures, and such. We can host the pages here, but the initial legwork of doing the elevation and length measurements, taking pictures and coming up with hole descriptions can be quite involved.
Steve Larsen is making up the Upper Ross Park course tee signs, and will also need the distance and elevation numbers for that course too.
Any volunteers? If you already have this information please post it here. |

Here's a nice simple example of a website for a nice small course in North Idaho, complete with a virtual tour and alternate pin placements. I think some guys out of Spokane, WA, created the site (as well as most of the leg work for designing and installing the course).
Here's the link: http://branvis.com/discgolf/corbin/

I have pictures from the tee box on all 9 holes of the AF course. I believe I have a regular picture from the tee and then a zoomed in picture. I can get these to whoever decides to volunteer. _________________ See you on the course!

Thanks for doing that Caleb. Break them out and get them ready. Let's see if we can get some volunteers at the club meeting. |

I think I may have some pretty good pictures of all 18 holes at Bengal Ridge. I took the pics last year so all of the tee boxes (and signs) and greens are included unlike the ones on the ISU Bengal Ridge site. I may be able to dig those up if anyone would like them (if I still have them that is). I'm heading back to Missoula so I'd have to e-mail them to whomever wants them.
