This week we learned how quickly a fire can spread on a natural disc golf course. A fire started close to the Riverdale Walmart and crossed the Weber river and then proceeded to burn holes 10-14 of the Riverpark disc golf course. (went on to burn several acres East of the course). Only one basket was damaged, but those holes look alot different and lost alot of their charm. The fire department responded fairly quickly and potentially saved the entire course.

Just a reminder to how dry some of these natural courses can get. Golfers need to be extra careful this time of year.
