Casey beat me.
Mark beats me at league all the time.
Kerry may very well be in the top 10 for 1/2 chinese disc golfers from Idaho falls. But I haven't met them all, and i have met kerry, so let's just let the jury stay out on this one. _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.

Sandbagger?! Haven't you seen me play?! I make a 20 foot putt 1 out of 10 times!
I'm not sure how to explain this weekend's performance aside from being relaxed the first round (thanks Mark and Mike) and playing each hole for 3. I did a lot of laying up for a sure 3, instead of going for it to risk a 4. My birds were mostly from lucky drives. I was pretty nervous during the 2nd round, never having been anywhere near the top (I finished 2 of 3 of my tournaments last year in dead last... and I'm pretty sure the one I didn't come in last was due to some guy not showing up for round 2).
Also, I've got to give kudos to Lance. I stole his all-buzz-all-the-time style... and I followed his advice to take the wraiths out of my bag. I threw teebird, buzz, and JK Aviar for almost all my shots (aside from a firebird hyzer on 4 and a couple of sidewinder shots that turned over all day for me). I finally figured out what the pros mean when they say that new players throw too many different molds.
Anyway I can't go up to advance 'cause all my tournament points are in intermediate. |

Nice job Casey. I was talking to Mindy about the first time we played with you- you were terrible. Mindy beat you by 20 strokes over 9 holes. I can't believe how consistent you are getting now. It is awesome to see.
Looking back I think I threw a t-bird and a valk, all forehand for about 2 years. no putter, no mid, no backhand outside of 50 feet. that probably held me back a lot in some ways but I knew exactly what each disc would do every time.
I looked back at my lake walcoot open scores for a few years and it looks like I take about 5-10 strokes off my game every year, except this year I leveled out a bit.
As you pick up more power along the way you are definitely headed to advanced. Hopefully I won't have to play against you for a few years though. the clash of the buzzes might tear a hole in the space-time continuim. _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.
