The thing is:
I thought we agreed to THROW rollers too. So I was down 2 after 1 hole.
Then John Bunker took my new champ rock leaving me with only 3 discs.
Brandon is holding my putter ransom.
Kerry made a totallly ridiculous putt on 9 to push 2 holes
I really don't have any money so the pressure was on
I haven't played bengal in a long time
I like the back 9 better
It was only windy on my turns
I had bad rolls on approaches
I was wearing inappropriate footwear
My pants were a little loose and that throws me off
Some of the trees have grown in on 7 and I didn't know
My forehand is broken
I broke my back not long ago
I was under time pressure to get back to work
Kerry walks really slow and it was agitating me
I thought more people were going to show
My buzzz must be out of whack from the taco tree
dimple technology has its limits.

John Bunker seems to remember Lance throwing that brand new Champion Roc across the gully and telling me to keep it. Hmmm??

And that was just after the same Lance told me it was Mindy's new Roc, and that I was trying to steal if from a girl.

And I thought only old people had trouble with their memory.

And by the way --- do you remember that great throw that John had with Kerry's brand new Champ Roc? Clear across the gully and parked next the the basket.

The $10 a hole game continued yesterday. Kerry was up $50 going into it and we were pushing $20. by hole 3 Kerry was up $100. By hole 7 kerry was up $110. By 18 I managed to trim the lead back to $90. we are still pushing $20. Playing for $180 a day might seem outrageous until you look at our tornament results from the last 3 years. sum total we are probably within 1 stroke. Plus I'm sure kerry will let me go double or nothing on any given hole.

well I think I'm updating this just to have it on paper.

current debt : kerry owes Lance $60 and $10 is pushing forward.

rules: when lance and kerry play, and both players consent, it is standard skins, for $10 per hole. score must be written if possible, to reduce the amount of memory required.
Payout is the second week of september 2008.
At any time the person in debt can demand a single 'double or nothing' hole on the course and hole of their choosing, within reason. This option is available once a month, and 3 times in September. This applies despite injuries, weather or other sissy excuses.


If anyone wants to join they must be rated less that 800, like me.

Kerry and I played Bengal ridge the other day, just the front 9. conditions weren't bad. THere is some mud and a bit of sonw, but very playable. we went in with kerry down 18 holes.

We did play 18 at ross a few weeks ago but no cash was on the line because Kerry refused. As it turned out he would have won like 16 of 18 holes. It is too bad.

At bengal he had only his backup discs, no putter and only a comet for mid range. Somehow he agreed to play for $$. Long story short- he is now in the hole $230.

The saga continues soon.... If this pace keeps up by September a double or nothing hole will be way too scary to try.

Lance's brand new pro bag is bright orange and it hurts to look at it. Plus, I was playing in my dress shoes. And Lance doesn't really work, he just hangs outside so it wasn't really fair. I feel a double or nothing hole in the near future...$230 is nothing. I bet Mark Lansing spends $230 a week on collectible Rocs.

kerry took a 5 hole bounty today on 8. So the math shows L2_K2_K5_L1 so the total is kerry down 19 holes with no money pushing.

After he left I played really well, especially since I played with two fingers hurt all day.

Missed a handful of makeable bird putts, but it is early after all.

LOL...needless to say you must have thrown SMOOTH....Instead of High rollers maybe "The Mr. Rogers and Mr McFeely Golf Tour" is in order. Indeed you were the best dressed on the course.

Come to think of it, a lot of those parked cars were totally checking you out!!!!
