I placed another Innova order today for my dad and while I was at it asked the lady if there are any new discs coming out soon that she can give me a heads-up about. She told me that Innova is releasing the STAR Destroyer in 2-3 weeks that will be part of their regular STAR line. She didn't have the flight characteristic numbers to give me but she said it will "outfly the Wraith." Sounds like another big bomber, this one should be interesting to throw.
I also updated my list of discs that are being discontinued by Innova, some of this might not be news and some might, so here goes: DX Raven, Champ. and DX Panther, Champ. Stingray, Champ. Gator, Champ. Cobra, Champ. Whippet, Pro Teebird, Pro Teebird-L, and no more of the Big Bead and Small Bead Champion Aviars.
There also weren't any models being released in different plastics that she knew of, so, still no STAR Vikings, Banshees, or Whippets like I have been asked about. I guess the STAR Whippet is available as maybe a TFR disc though, because a guy in Post Falls has one. _________________ ScottW

I will be heading down to Pocatello for Labor Day weekend and I will have a collection of the new First Run STAR Destroyers if anybody is interested in getting their hands on one. I will also have the First Run STAR Cro and Champion Wraiths available if you haven't seen those yet . I will also probably have a number of other discs if anyone is interested. If there is anything specific that you are looking for that you can't find in town just let me know and I will pull it out of my dad's stock and bring it down with me. I'll probably get in Friday afternoon and head out sometime Monday afternoon depending on how much homework I have. I gotta get up to the ridge and see if I remember how to play that sucker. I have another big tournament in Spokane today but I am not sure if my arm is recovered from the Southern Idaho Championship yet. See you soon. _________________ ScottW

I did receive a call from a gentlemen down there last night about the discs that I have. He was looking for lighter weight stuff and unfortunately I don't have any light plastic. I would have to imagine that it is not highly sought after in the windy city of Poky. Regardless, if there's any light plastic that anyone wants I can get it from my dad, just let me know, but it will probably take a while though. I think the lightest I saw at the time was a 167 Ch. Wraith but I also didn't look for anything else.
So far from what I have seen from the Destroyer that I picked up is that it seems to be more overstable than the TeeRex, then again it could just be the fact that I throw like a girl, not sure. I think it will be a much better wind disc and forehand disc for me. _________________ ScottW

If the club doesn't have any I have 3 First Run Destroyers left. Unfortunately all 3 are red. I have 175 and 172g if I remember correct. I will be down there next Thursday. Holler back if you want me to bring anything down. _________________ ScottW
