I have been eagerly and anxiously awaiting the release of the new player ratings and they finally came out today. Yes, I am a ratings whore , even though they don't really mean much. I like to use it as a tool to mark my progress and improvement. I went from 895 to 902 . I am a little disappointed that I wasn't up in the 910-915 range but oh well, I guess I just have to get better. I think the only tournaments that I have a chance of playing in to improve this year will be the Staggering Ox Open, a C-tier in Missoula on Aug. 11 and the Southern Idaho Championships if I can got time off for each.

I saw Caleb was at 973 though I am not sure where he was before. Brandon is at 927 and I am also not sure where he was before.

Montana finally has its first 1000 rated player . Christian Dietrich who is from Missoula is right at 1000 now after this update, he's incredible.
