Mindy and I palyed the winter course on Sat 3-17-07

It was wild. apparently the park is underutilized in the winter because if there were more than 3 people there is would be dangerous. the first two holes throw right through/over/into the main parking areas. In particular #2 is about 450' and forces you to either lay up at 280' or throw through TWO rows of trees with windows. to get a two you would have to have an insanely long laser accurate drive. even if you lay up you still ahve to hi two consecutive gaps to get over the parking lot. the final hole throws blind next to the palyground, around the main building, towards the main walkway. other than that the other 6 hole are fairly standard park holes with a fair amount of abstables and trees. there is elevation on 2 holes, one up, one down. the down is a great one thrown to the edge of the fishing pond. to me the course strongly favors RHBH

my scores over two rounds- 29 and 28. I thought I played well but could not hit #2 in three. Later I tried emptying my bag at it, twice. i might get 3 1 in 10 times.

the summer course was being installed as we played the other. it looks like water plays a lot and the holes are mostly well out of my driver range.

based on the shape of the lake and the course i would guess a lot of leftie holes.

If you plan to go to the tournament I would go a day early and play a few rounds some holes have backdoor approaches, mulitple options and blind shots.
