I started the SIMS as a way to get the community out to play in fun, no hassle events. The points back then were set up as a best of 4 out of 5 events. The reason for this was to reward the best disc golfer in each division, not the disc golfer who plays the most events. The problem now is that there are 8 events instead of 5. It makes it real difficult for those who have lives to make all 8. I would recommend taking the best 5 of 8.

As far as the other topic, I don't agree with Will that the avatar issue is religious. The problem with disc golf is that it has become a degenerate sport where its ok to play with your shirt off, drop a loud f-bomb when you miss a 10 foot putt (even when children are present), play your music, and smoke a dooby. This is exactly why we can't steer sponsors to the club page, because its not up to society's business standards. This is exactly why the #1 disc golfer in the world can only win a little under $40,000 a year playing almost every week in a year. When ESPN came out to film the "up and coming" sport of disc golf, they got right back in their vans and left because the first thing the saw was weed. If you love the sport and want to see it progress, show some respect. Change the face of disc golf.
