If you are going to be in town this Saturday, show up at hole 5 tee-pad area 8:30am, and we'll hold at pad-laying party!
It's way past time to put in pad 5, so come one come all to the park. Bring your gloves, shovels, and fun. I'll bring breakfast, you bring the party.
Call me at 478-1456 if you have any questions.
Thanks
John Jemmett

I moved the frame down this morning. I will try to get the brick and rock moved as well. I may not have time. I have to be at the XC ski area on sat from 5am-3pm for a race so I'm out, sorry. _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.

| Thanks for the help Lance! I have a truck, so moving brick isn't so bad. I need access to sand however. Does the parks and rec have a pile somewhere? |

there is sand up by the palletts of bricks, sort of by the replica gate.
I got the bricks moved, some rocks moved and some junk cleaned up. I think the course is really looking nice.
anyone want to make some alternate pin placements???? _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.

The pad party was a success. Those of you who haven't been by the Upper Ross course in awhile are in for a treat. We were able to put in pad 5 in a couple hours, and even dyed the number on the bricks before the noon rush.
I would like to especially thank Randy Nordquist and Brady Belnap for all their help in putting in the pad.
Thanks also goes out to all the others who helped.
John
P.S. Steve and I did a walkthrough of the course, and we are starting design on the tee-signs now. |

I just wanted to say that the teebox for hole 5 looks great. It's nice to not have to throw from the dirt anymore. I was also impressed with the relative flatness of the box - great work. Lance, I had some ideas for alternate pin positions if that is something that you really want to do, though if you have thought about it I am sure that your thoughts are probably similar to mine because the options are fairly limited. Will post my thoughts if you want to hear them. _________________ ScottW
