It's scheduled for January 14th at Upper Ross Park. Should be like last year, with a few twists thrown in. This is an event designed to raise food and cash for the Idaho Food Bank affiliate at First Baptist Church in Poky. We're also gonna have a great time.
Last year we were able to raise $450 and 300 lbs of food. I dare you to do better. I set goals for us to raise $500 and 400 lbs of food. I think we could pull it off, if we all pitch in.
No pre-registration necessary, but if you're planning on being there for this one, please let me know so I can get a rough head-count. More information will follow as we get closer to the event.

How did everyone feel about the 12-hole layout last year? I will not be laying out three different tees for each hole this year. However, I am thinking again about playing the same layout we had last year at Ross Park (or similar) where the first round ends up at the shelter for lunch.
I'd love some feedback here. Thanks. _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

Hey Austin, Mel and I are planning on being there. Last year was good I think. Personally I like how you come up with different things. So I would suggest some things like last years but then throw in maybe a couple new ideas to make it feel different too.
Looking forward to this. Happy holidays! |

Missy was able to get some pretty good prizes for sponsors from Phil Meador and Scott's Ski and Sports. Talking to a plethora of other businesses as well. Gonna be a good one this year. Make sure you're there. _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

| One thing about last year that I think got a bit confusing was that there were a lot of teeing off areas I think if you cut each hole to having the main tee pad and one other one it would be better I did really like the additional holes that were added last year. |

I agree with you, Mooch. This year's layout should be drastically simpler. We'll be playing the 12-hole layout again, as that seemed to work well last year. On that note, if anyone could please bring portable baskets with them, I'd appreciate it. I need at least three.
Additionally, the playoff for the sweater will be two safari holes. Participants will be the folks who bring the most food by weight and those who bring in the highest cash donations.
Don;t forget, mulligans area available at no limit for $1 a peice. I want to see someone shoot in the 70's or 80's this year.
News of the day, ICCU is throwing some cash sponsorship our way. That means that we'll be able to offer a modest player's pack this year, so make sure you're at this event. Gonna be a good time _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

Walked the course design with David and Matt a few days ago. Gonna play one round of 18 from originals, and one round from alternates.
Also, got the discs and schwag for the event, and the hot stamp is far cooler this year. _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

| I will be headed on a scout trip to the skyline yurt on the 13th and will not be back in time for the event. Kind of a bummer, but the right thing for me to do. Once again it should be fun. |

| I am planning on attending. It wouldn't be the start of a new year if I didn't get my butt kicked in Poky. |
