It looks like there's already Ace Races set up for Rock Creek (Oct 8 ) and Walcott (Sept 17).

In 2010, we managed to sell all of the player packs ordered, which meant $125 straight to the club. I did a crappy job advertising and getting any additional sponsors - I think if someone were to put up fliers around ISU campus and a few places in town early enough and get people pre-registered, it could get even bigger (I think we had either 25 or 30 last year).

Sorry to hear your not going to be able to run the event this year I sadly wont be able to run it either but would like to encourage anybody in the club that hasn't run an event to step up and do this one cause this would be a great one to cut there teeth into to get some experience running tournaments
