feel free to move the perm baskets as necessary. I assume you have a key. _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.

Some last minute plan changes have occured, I won't be able to attend. Just wanted to let you know so you can use the players packs I reserved for some of the other people who would like to attend.
Sorry to miss out Eric.
I'll be back to beat ya next year Mark. LOL |

Well, it was a beautiful day for an Ace Race! We had 25 people show up for the day. Grand prize went to Erik Carlson, who hit 2 aces (on consecutive throws). Congrats to Erik!
One other thing I forgot to announce at the Ace Race - since we sold all the player packages, the event raised $125 for the club.
Thank you to everyone who showed up to support this event. It was quite fun. Specific thanks to: Matt and Mark - who both helped lay out the course. To Mark and Austin - who loaned baskets for the day. To Sam for calmly talking down a concerned property owner. To Austin - who donated a Lance Clark autographed $5 bill (approximate retail value: $0.01). To Paul and Trevor - for help with getting the course back to normal afterward. To Brad for helping with registration and running the optional side ace pot. To everyone for being respectful of course/City park rules and representing the club well. (sorry if I missed anyone - it's not intentional!)
Where should we hold the 2011 Pocatello Ace Race? My choice would be either Sister or Bengal. Thoughts?
Thanks all!

Thanks Eric. Glad it went well.
Might I humbly suggest that we donate the money to Sister City Park for additional work on the course? |

Matt - That is where I would like it to go (towards Sister City Park). What's the best way to do that - donate through the club or through the City?

It would be best for me if it did not go through the city.
In other words I would rather have you go to home depot and buy materials than donate money and have me spend it.
It doesn't matter if it is from the club or an individual.
I would suggest buying more landscape brick to reinforce the back of pads 10 and 18.
I do appreciate the donation. _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.

Eric,
I am fine with either. If you would like to donate it to the club, I can earmark it for Sister City...I can take the donation and go buy the supplies/stuff with club card at home depot, or where ever. Or if you want to just take the money and go buy what the city aka Lance says is needed thats fine too. Just let me know what you would like to do.
What a nice problem to have. Thanks again Eric and Lance. |
