We will be installing 18 baskets and tee posts at Sister City on October 17th. We'll start at Sun-up and keep going til its finished. If you can come help, here's what we'll need:
Shovels
Post Hole Diggers
Wheelbarrows
Hoses
If you can come help anytime on the 17th, we'd appreciate it. Just wanted to get this thread going so we can hash this out and get it finished. _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

| I have a wheelbarrow, shovel, and a hose. I can probably borrow a post hole digger too if need be. Just let me know. |

post hole diggers are probably the tool that we will have the biggest shortage of.
I will bring a wheel barrow, shovel, hose and a few other tools. _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.

Is their any way we can do a run through of the course and see about any adjustments or are we just doing the course that was their for the monthly?
My vote would be for a get together maybe two before the 17th to make sure we get the best result we can.
Just my opinion though and I am happy we are getting the course.
Thanks, _________________ See you on the course!

When I was last at Walcot they had some gas powered post hole diggers. Does the city have any of those that we could let Lance use ?

we have a tractor with a post hole auger. I'll look into it. Maybe not on the grass but should be OK in the scrub.
Anybody that wants to look at the layout shoot me an email. I lost 2 discs working on the back 9 last night. When you throw a max d shot into sagebrush it is a tricky business. _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.

I agree with Caleb. I am happy to get the course and would like to help.
Could we discuss getting together for a possible course overview and brainstorming session? This might already be a topic on the agenda for the BBQ, but I would like to suggest Tuesday at 4:30. I really enjoyed getting involved with the Lava course.
Thank you Austin, Matt, Lance, and everyone else for getting us to this point.

The discussion at the BBQ was to meet Tuesday at 4:30 at the sister city pavillion. The main place we need creative juice is for the back nine.

I was at Ace hardward Saturday and asked about rentals. Here is what I found. FYI-
Small Mixer
$8.00 and hour
$24. 00 4 hours
$40.00 24 hours
2 Man Auger
$14.00 and hour
$42. 00 4 hours
$70.00 24 hours
What time do you mean by Sun-up? I will have to come and go some I think. I have some more shovels, and hoses I will bring. I also have another wheelbarrow, will we need another one, probably right?

Here's the plan:
We are meeting at Lowe's at 8am on Saturday, 10/17, to pick up all of the concrete and materials. We will then go to Sister City and get to work.
We will likely be there for most of the day. We will need:
Shovels
Hoses
Wheelbarrows
People to use Shovels
People to push Wheelbarrows
People to run the auger
People (or ATV) to carry concrete
Also, if anyone has a four wheeler they would be willing to bring, we'd appreciate it.
What we need most is folks to come and help do something. Even if it is only for a short while, any help is appreciated. We have 63 80# bags of concrete to move around the park, as well as 54 holes to dig with the gas auger. There's work to be done, so let's do it.
I'll have my cell on me all day (851-2014). _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

I spoke to a good friend and he has agreed to let me borrow his 4 wheeler for the day if we want it. I would need a truck to pull the trailer that it is on, but if we can figure that out, I can get it.
Let me know if you want me to get it or not. |

Slight idea change. Is anyone opposed to meeting at Lowe's at 7:00 instead of 8:00 with their rig? By the time we load up and get ups to Sister City, it'll be light, and we can get to work a little eariler, with hopes of getting done earlier.
Side bar - If anyone is planning on coming, please let me know on this thread along with when you think you may be coming, so we can plan on having something for you to do when you get there. Thanks. _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

I will be at Lowe's at 7 with a truck and trailer (though the trailer is half full of baskets) I will have 1 wheel barrow, 2 shovels, rakes, levels, the baskets, gloves, hoses, extension cords, a sound system, and some assorted tools.
BRAD- can you still get that concrete mixer? it would be most helpful, especially if only 4 people show. _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.
