We kind of have a tradition that started a couple of years back. Each friday a group of us would get together and play a quarter a hole skins. We're going to be doing it again this year, so if you feel like a bit of fun, yet competitive play come meet us at Noon each Friday at the Upper Ross Park.

Rules:

Each Person Playing will put a quarter into the bag.

The person that has the bag throws first. We play the hole out, lowest score wins the bag.

If there is a tie for the lowest score, the bag carries and each player puts another quarter in the bag.

If there is a tie for the win on hole 9, the bag carries, and we have a putt-off to see who wins the bag.

The person who ultimately wins the bag, keeps the bag until the next week.

Thoughts:

If you are an awesome player you may only need to bring one quarter to play out all the holes.

If you aren't an awesome player, you may need to bring up to 9 quarters to play out all the holes.

If you think you are an awesome player, but find out you are not (because you find your pockets empty of quarters) keep playing anyway, you're not going to be chased off. To misquote an old saying "It's all for fun, and fun for all!"

good turnout on friday. i hope everyone comes back out and maybe we could get some more people out. i know i'll be there because the track team isn't traveling this weekend

I sure was a blast having everybody there last Friday. I am sure to make it this week too. We now have an official "SKINS" bag that will stay with the person to win the last hole. They will be responsible to be at the course each Friday at Noon so that we can continue the tradition. If they can't make it, it's their responsibility to give the bag to someone they know will be there.

I will not be at weekly skins in Pocatello this Friday due to the Lake Walcott Open, but I am interested in doing the traditional Friday night skins at Walcott. 18 holes and 18 quarters. I have got the bag and does 6:00pm at Hole #1 sound good to all who want to join?

If Ben, Casey and I are there by 6, we'll be up for some skins. I'm not sure if we can make it by 6, though.

6 might be a little tight for me too. I would be more comfortable with 6:30. I'll try to be there as early as possible however.

Glad you are back mook. Hopefully someone can git that bag from you so that you don't have the burden of keeping it all the time Rolling Eyes
