I'm with you Lance. Rocs suck.
Here's the deal. I throw all Wasp. Someone gave me a CE Roc, so I thought 'd try it. It stank so bad that I didn't even finish my round with it. I traded it to Mook for a Buzz, and lots of people know how much I "love" Buzz's.
By the way Lance, way to go on the use of Vespidae. I was trying to figure out a way to include all non-Roc throwers, and you beat me to the punch. _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

| Yeah I have the same story about a Buzz, and the Wasp is Discraft trying to live up to what the Innova Roc is. So, if you are throwing a Wasp, you're trying to throw a Roc. |

You do relise why they call it a "RocK" right? Because when you throw it, it goes up and then down. Nowhere near where you want it or intended for it to go.
Now disc of the "Vespidae" persuastion, have useful flight patterns and are agile.
The Buzz and Wasp are nothing like a Roc. THANKFULLY! |

Talk is cheap, ya'll. We'll stick with Kerry's plan to track the Roc "army" versus Vespidae Swarm throwers, and we'll see who wins. (Although, without Lance's help at SIMS, the Vespidae swarm could be hard pressed.)
The team with the best average Bag Tag at the end of the year will gain bragging rights all winter. _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

| Can I be a part of the Roc Army? Oh wait, I DID move to Utah! I guess I don't count anymore. Well, I guess that will help the Vespidae Swarm tremendously. |

Mook, there are no geographic boundaries if you are true to the roc.
To those about to "roc" we salute you... |

I agree with Matt here. There will not be any physical boundaries to this, the Roc Army can have as many folks as they think will be necessary. It just mean that the Vespidae Swarm will beat more people, that's all. _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

Vespidae - Each social wasp colony includes a queen and a number of female workers with varying degrees of sterility relative to the queen. In temperate social species, colonies usually only last one year, dying at the onset of winter.
So, by definition, ya'll will be gone by next winter anyway. I guess we can put up with your silliness for one season.
Oh, and please don't place me in any of Austin's groups this summer - apparently he's looking to beat off as many people as possible.

Aw, look, Eric learned to use Wikipedia.
What's a Roc gonna do? Fly over and poop on us? Lame. _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

Dude, you said it. Not me.
In all fairness, I am looking forward to the friendly competition (Rocs suck) inherent in our current battle for supremacy (Rocs suck). We can all enjoy the rounds ahead of us (Roc sucks) in the various tournaments and leagues this year. I hope none of this (Rocs suck) trash talk is out of line.
See ya'll out there. _________________ God is happiest when His children are at play, so PLAY. |

The only reason they invented the Buzz is so that disc golfers can say they have a Buzz and for that one moment in their life it isn't drug or alcohol related.
I once knew a man who rummaged through his garbage to find a Roc he had lost.
I also knew a man who dammed up a river to find the Roc he lost.
Devotion like this can only be found by a true disc golf master who has beheld the power of the Roc.
I also heard that Buzz throwers still wear SpongeBob Squarepants undies.
Oh, its on like Donkey Kong! Count me in on Saturday! |
