You are invited to join the PVDGC Roc Army: the few, the proud, the Innova throwers. Requirements:

-Embrace the Roc as the best midrange disc and forsake all others.
-Patch up your bag with a Roc patch ( google Roc patch. Comes in three colors. Costs about five bucks).
-Defend the Roc against dirty ESP forehand Buzz players.
-Sacrifice a virgin ( optional depending upon the laws in your jurisdiction).

I have some extra patches on hand. Eric Statts, one is reserved for you.

I'm in. I'm all for starting a Roc - cult....

I recently switched to an all-Inova bag. Still searching for a putter - right now it's a JK Aviar or a Rhyno. Although, I really want to get my hands on this R-Pro plastic....

Oh, and will past sacrifices count, or does it need to be a new one?

I guess I could join too. Rocs Rock! I know I am beating the same drum I have for years, but you know exactly what your Roc is gonna do before you throw it. I compare it to me and my wife. Me being the thrower and the Roc being my wife. If our marriage is screwed up, its my fault, not hers.

I have white, blue and yellow Roc patches. Casey Locke has first call, then James and Mook. If Mook doesn't want one or would rather order his own, Mooch has next dibs. You can order your own from discgolfvalues.com.

I will track stats at SIMS monthlys to show the performance of the Roc army against the averages for the entire group and a select group of buzz throwers.

Introducing the vespidae swarm.

In response the the growing ranks of the rok army I am forming a rival factions to be known as the vespidae swarm. There are a few differences.

1- You do not have to sew a patch to anything, you don't have to sew at all. Sewing is for sissies. If caught sewing you are demoted to the rok army.

2- You needn't be snobby about your midrange, any disc is welcome as long as it stings your opponent when it goes in from downtown. (forehand or backahnd)

3- There are no meetings or dues. There are also no secret handshakes or knowing glances. If you compliment another member on the rarity of their disc or the awesomeness of the stamp you are demoted. Shut up and throw.

4- We will not be killing any virgins- we don't want to dominate the rok army through attrition, just score.

Just because you choose to use one of those "other" discs, there is no need to get bitter or be upset about it. I will be happy to tell you "nice shot" or "wish I could learn to throw a mid-range forehand", but I also refuse to give up my heritage as a first generation Roc thrower.

I suggest you embrace your own heritage (whatever it may be), just as I do my own. Generations of Roc throwers built this sport. Without the Roc, none of this would exist. And I must say, "to thine own self be true".

I do not wish to take away your own right to whatever random mid you choose to sling. Just don't get upset when one of us shouts:

"Que viva el Roc army"

consider this a blacklist for the swarm, and why:

Kerry- carrying a roc, super rok and classic rock and starting this whole ugly affair

Matt- promoting the rok army in a language or some sort of code I don't understand

Mook- for throwing a white/clear roc all winter and NOT losing it somehow, then losing it multiple times and HAVING IT COME BACK EVERY TIME.

Eric- for using one of my favorite shows against me.

Anyone else want a piece of this? Bring it on.

So far it is a swarm of one. And I've only seen one roc patch.

I motion to have Mooch added to the Black List for 3 reasons:
1: He throws a Roc.
