Remember that the Ice Bowl is a charity event. Its only $20 to enter and you get $12 worth of stuff on sign in. There will not be a huge prize pile. Alot like last year.

Anyway, we are running an Ace/Mulligan Pot for charity as well. I wanted to make sure people were prepared if they wanted to do this. It is $5 for the Ace Pot. The first person to hit an ace gets half the pot. If no aces are hit, then a third of it goes to the first person to hit metal. If there are no metals hit, then we will donate the entire pot to the Food Bank. With your $5 to the ace pot, you get a mulligan that you can use anytime anywhere. You can buy up to $25 worth of mulligans if you so choose. $5 gives you one. $10 gives you 3. $15 gives you 5. $20 gives you 7. $25 gives you 10 mulligans.

Again, the top food donators will get to play for an Ice Bowl Hooded Sweatshirt and a Full Color Buzzz.

Awesome. It looks like there will be some snow on the ground tomorrow, so dress appropriately (no flip-flops Myko).

Yeah, a great idea is to bring a couple extra pairs of socks cause it will be a wet snow (well...wetter than frozen snow).

Of course, we will all look like wimps and whiners anyway because Lava will simultaneously be running their Fire and Ice events which consist of tubing down the river (uh-huh) and running down main street in swimwear. Its the only time of the winter you single guys can oogle at girls in bikinis.

So, here are the final stats from the Rip and Dip Ice Bowl as far as donations are concerned:

277 lbs of Food
$82 Donated

For 30+ people to be this generous while playing disc golf in the snow was incredible. The Idaho Food Bank was thrilled at the idea of this type of donation. Seriously, I spent like half an hour talking with David at the Food Bank about all the details.

BIG Thanks to Mook and Brad for putting this together. Also, thanks to the NUDGA guys who traveled up to be there. Lastly, thanks to all who gave and participated.

Way to go folks!
