I ran up to ross today to help ISU get the baskets unlocked and moved to campus. I was late so I just parked on the road by the basket 1 and 4 and went to work. I ran across the road next to get 7/8 when I noticed a guy doing a bunch of stretches. he was limbering up him arms and apparently back and hamstrings as well down on the border between 7 and 8. He really seemd into his excercies and really was watching me closely too as I worked on the baskets. To my HORROR I realized that I had parked facing the wrong way, as had he. I'm still not 100% sure what he was limbering up for but apparently it required touching his toes.
My final horror was when I got really close to the guy it was Casey!
OK so the italics is a lie, but the rest is true. close call indeed.

You can't leave it at that. Do tell.
I know as I walked through the course todat at 2:00, I thought there were way too many people that could get hit. I am surprised about the liability that ASISU took with the course placement.
Hope nothing serious happened. |

I am sure Caleb feels really bad about it and it really wasn't his fault. The ISU tournament was a liability fiasco. Discs in the street, throwing over cars, people, and buildings even. He had a shot that hit a pedestrian right in the neck. We were about 400 feet away and had no idea what the damage was going to be when we walked up to the guy. He didn't want anyone called or to be taken anywhere, but you could tell he was a hurtin' dude.
Like I said, not your fault Caleb, but it was a true horror story. I don't know what the folks at ISU were thinking when they set this thing up! |
