Hey James
If you need a ride, I'll be headed up early-ish on Saturday. If you want, we can chat more at league Wednesday night.

I played Mink Creek last year and even with the weeds it was a highlight of the season. I changed plans for my anniversary and took 2 days off work so I can make it on Saturday. We need a big turnout this year to push for year round course. For you married guys- you have been saving "marital capital" all year- now is the time to spend it. The rest of you have no excuse.

Mink Creek is a blast. My favorite tourney last year. I want to go and defend my title, but Lib and I just bought a house in Richmond, Utah and it needs a ton of work.
If I'm not there you all have fun.
James..... kick Calebs butt for me. |

I can't believe you are not going to make it to this tourny. You need to try to get someone else to beat me because you can't. I believe you need to play in two more tourny's to qualify. Maybe not though. You should really come if you can it will be a ton of fun. _________________ See you on the course!

Brandon - Awesome tourney at Mink Creek. Even though some (presumably) large insect decided to sting the hell outa my back, it was quite the fun 36 holes of golf. That was a tough course, but fun.
Looking forward to Bengal -

The mink creek course proved fun once again. I am glad I missed the first round though because I would not have been able to hang with kerry and drew.
I will most likely be at the bengal season closer. look out. _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.

| Tournament Central at the SIMS Championship this weekend will be located in the grass area accross the street, just below the particle accellerator (Triangle Building). Player's Meeting Both rounds though will be located at hole 1. |

It looks like I have to work this sat after all. The guy that was supposed to run the raft trip went down with a shoulder injury. I am the only one left. I have never been so bummer to go rafting.
Mindy will likely go with me too, so no women's winner this year. _________________ Look at the size of that pill, I can't swallow that.

| Lance had too many people sign up for the river trip and he does't have room for Kaya and I so I will probably come to the tournament. Any chance there might be any girls besides me and Kerry? |

As soon as I find a lady in Twin that loves to play disc golf, I can get out there and practice more and then try some tournaments.
Rock Creek Park is so secluded that my husband forbids me to go out there by myself. I actually went against his wishes and was confronted by a homeless in a skimpy red bathing suit lounging at basket #2 and haven't been out there since.
I am running out of friends and family members to bribe to go out there with me |

Thanks to everyone who attended and helped me out with the 2008 Southeast Idaho Monthly Series! It was a hit and we hope to make it a little bigger and better next year!
Special Thanks To:
Austin Pettit
Lance Clark
Wendell Ashby
Brad Deffinger
Caleb Wolfe
Lake Walcott
Kerry Hong
Mark Lansang
Drew Nielsen
Mike Nielsen
Jason Nielsen
Bob Davies
Southern Idaho Chuckers
Steve Hollowell
...for helping out with sponsorship, merchandise, baskets, and you name it for the series!
A correction though. I believe at the trophy ceremony I announced Mike Miller as the 3rd place winner overall in the Intermediate Division. That is incorrect. Casey Locke overtook Mike by 2 points giving Casey the plaque. So, I haven't forked that over to Mike yet and I will bring it to league tonight if you want to come and claim it. Otherwise, if I don't see you, I will bring it to "One Disc To Rule Them All".
All the results are up now.
Thanks everybody. |
