I saw Sean Rose last week and he is looking for a Saturday in June for the Idaho Falls Doubles Tourny. Riverpark in the 14-15 and the Monthly (maybe) is the 28th. Any strong feelings about the date? For those who have not played, it is a great event and the Rose's do a good job running the show.

Looks like the monthly will most likely be on the 21st, so the 28th is wide open. June 7th is open but thats real close. I would recommend the 28th. That way if there are any stragglers who didn't see the date change on the monthly, the doubles tournaments can take advantage.

Questions:

Do the rose bros want to use the club for prizes like the monthly series? They will get more stuff, people get prizes they want, and the club makes a few bucks.

If there going to be a mixed division?

if no, then does the following math make any sense: mediocre advanced + good womens = intermediate? Or should Mindy and I get crazy and go advanced?

Mindy, will you play with me?

If kerry and mark team up do they have to go pro? since advanced + advanced = pro

It's official! Sean Rose asked me to post that the Idaho Falls Doubles Tourney will be 8/2/08 @ Freeman Park. More details to follow.

Too bad. Seeing how we rocked that course at the monthly, I was gonna see if you wanted to tag team again. Now I gotta find another date to the prom.

I am going to help sponsor the doubles tourney, so I want my money to go to a good cause with a good turnout. If you want to play, but need a partner, post on this thread and we will help.

If you need incentive, think about the cool shirt that Drew was sporting @ the Lava SIM. You could get a shirt with my name on it!

If you need Freeman Park practice, hit league on Tuesday @ 6:00.

$4.09 gas is not an excuse for not enjoying Freeman Park.

Plus, if you show up to the Doubles Tourney, I might tell you about the time I rescued a girl in a bikini out of the Porneuf River...she was in the bikini, not me.
