Ross Park Evening League starts this Wednesday (April 2nd) at 6:30pm. The weather is going to hold well. The cost is $5 per person and we will be playing 18 holes. We give out cash to the top 30% in raw and handicapped scores. We also give out a Jimmy Johns sandwich (gift certificate) for the Closest To The Pin winner. There is also an Ace Pot. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come and play and compete and any skill level! Plus, we keep track of all your stats and hand them out each week, too! I hope to many old and new faces coming out to have alot of fun and competition this year.

All results will be posted at the course and on this forum.

this week trader joe's is open from 5:45-6:20 before league. buy club plastic, sell your plastic, buy used plastic, or just trade straight up. it is free and guarantedd to improve you league play. nothing makes you play better than having just the right disc for the shot.

league is good fun. brandon does a good job and the handicapping is awfully nice.

Honestly, I have no money for an ace pot or for season awards and that is the reason for the price hike. Sponsorship was increased as well this year.

it is 90 minutes worth of entertainment, plus you can win money- like a casino without all the old people. and a sandwich.

If your ash tray doesn't have $5 in it then there is an old guy parked by hole 6 facing the wrong way that will spot you $10. All you have to do is close your eyes.....

For Drew only: If he isn't there I'll loan you $5. But you have to close your eyes.....

We had a record 1st week turnout for league (between Bengal Ridge and Ross Park) last night with 7 showing up! Thanks to everyone who came. We had some crazy shots with Caleb rolling one out of bounds on 17. We thought it was gone, forgot about it, and it showed up rolling back in bound 10 seconds later. He made up for it on 18 (alternate 9 teepad) where his roller hit metal on the drive and attempted to roll itself up the pole and into the basket. It was awesome.

All in all everyone was please with the added variety of the alternate teepads. We will be doing these all year.

James won the Jimmy Johns CTP on Hole #4. He was about 20 feet away next to the pine tree on the right.

Nobody won the ace pot so $7.00 will carry to next week.

There was no handicaps due to this being the first week.

Seriously, and after we let you win at Blackfoot.

I mean your whole sob story of how you never get any respect in the disc golf world because you never win.....pffft!!!! all lies..... just like the tear that was on your cheek.

That story was so touching, afterword, Kerry, Austin and I got together and decided to give you one. (we had to talk to Kerry after round one, because he was making throwing the game to obvious).

Lance, we did this out of the kindness of our hearts....and now you've kicked us in the face for it........Pfft!!!.....well that is the last time..........

Austin and Kerry please back me up on this...the truth will set you free.

Lance is a loser and I also let him beat me at TVC (but I did some damage playing hgh rollers...).

Brandon has laid out his 9 alt pads for league. they are pretty good given the limited area to work with. the require more precision and sometimes more distance. I am terrible at playing a course for the first time.
Recruit new people for league while you are out playing casual ronds! I want to get some of those dirtbag guys in the league so they will stop leaving beer cans everywhere. Plus I want their money.

AS FAR AS LETTING ME WIN AT BLACKFOOT !!!!?????

i think that tomorrow is going to be another easy day or rest day for us practice wise... so i should be at league night again. woohoo!!!!

and i know this business about letting Lance win in blackfoot is a joke, but i don't think that with the wind we had the first round and part of the second round that it would even be possible to "let someone win"

hopefully i'll see you guys at league night

Wow the value of the dollar really is down. a $5 soda is mighty steep. sounds like there must be at least some bacardi in your cola.

Of course you might not have to worry about it. The mighty coyote may have some trouble finding his den with the alternate tee pads in effect. especially given a maximum range of 200 feet.

I sure hope I can make it to wipe that smugness off your face.
