Mission

club logoThe Portneuf Valley Disc Golf Club is eastern Idaho's first discgolf club. We are a non-profit community organization that welcomes members of all skill levels. We consider ISU's Bengal Ridge and Upper Ross Park to be our home courses, and we work closely with the university and city parks department on course improvement and maintenance. The club has been organized to do the following:

  1. Promote disc golf in Southeast Idaho, especially the greater Pocatello area.
  2. Encourage and assist with local course development and maintenance.
  3. Sponsor local disc golf events.
  4. Provide fellowship and an information network for all interested disc golfers.
  5. Provide additional benefits to voting members.

The charity that our Salt Lake City Ice Bowl has chosen is The Road Home

Details for the 2008 Ice Bowl

This is a "bring your own partner" doubles Charity Fund Raiser with a goal of raising $1,000 in cash, or other items. If you don't know someone to have as your partner, come anyway and we'll put you with someone.

Click on the "Road Home Needs" button above for a list of what The Road Home needs.

Registration starts at 9:00am and ends at 9:40am

Two rounds, with the first round at 10:00am

The entry fee is $20 per player plus whatever cash or stuff you bring for the charity.

All payout will be in merchandise (remember, this is a charity fund raiser!) The goal is to raise money / merchandise for charity and have a great time in the process!!!

Mulligans will be for sale for $10 each. There is no limit to how many mulligans you can purchase and use. The money raised from the sale of mulligans will go directly to The Road Home.

Prizes will be awarded for the most mulligans purchased and used
AND
for the most mulligans purchased and NOT used!

Oh, I almost forgot, since this is a charity fund raiser, please feel free to ask your employer, friends, family or whomever to also donate money and/or stuff. We'll recognize on this website, anyone or any business who donates and who wants to be recognized.

Click here for a printable flyer to hand out to your friends. Help spread the word!!!
